There’s no shortage of places to stay when visiting Central Oregon – from high-end resorts to renovated motor lodges. Where you stay depends on what you plan to do during your visit. If relaxation is in order, a resort might be a better fit. If you plan to spend most of your time adventuring outdoors, a crash pad close to the action might be preferable.
When it comes to proximity, LOGE Bend is hard to beat. It’s the closest Bend hotel to Mt. Bachelor and there’s all kinds of activities within a short drive, bike or hike of the LOGE camp.
Accommodations at LOGE Bend
Stay in the family room if traveling with kids. It includes a queen size bed and bunk bed. If that’s not enough space for the fam to stretch out, there’s an in-room hammock, too. The hammock is a signature feature of LOGE rooms. Your kids will likely fight over it, don’t say we didn’t warn you!
You’ll also find a mini-fridge, microwave and hot water kettle in the room.
If you like to take your four legged family members along on vacations, too, you’re in luck! Dogs are allowed, but must be on a leash when outside of your room. There’s an off-leash dog area and dog potty stations are located around the property.
Rooms start at around $150 a night, but the price varies significantly depending on the season.
KidTripster Tip: This is a sprawling property and WiFi was spotty during our visit. If you plan to work remotely here, you’ll probably need to take your laptop to the lobby for a reliable internet connection.
KidTripster Tip: Although there is a TV in the room, your family may prefer to unplug on vacation. Go low tech and borrow a board game from the LOGE lobby.
Dining at LOGE Bend
There’s a small cafe on-site serving up little bites and beverages. The Entrada Cafe pours coffee to get the day started, and local brews to help you wind down in the evening.
If you prefer to make your own meal, you have options. There are Traeger grills available for use in the Chillin’ & Grillin’ locations. There’s also an expansive communal kitchen with all the tools you’d need to make a full meal.
On-Site Amenities at LOGE Bend
LOGE is designed with outdoor lovers in mind. After all, LOGE stands for “Live Outside Go Explore.” There are plenty of reasons to get outdoors during your stay. Pack a swimsuit because there’s a pool and hot tub. There’s a bike course on property. There’s a small climbing structure for little kids.
If you didn’t bring your gear with you, there’s plenty available to rent. You’ll find mountain bikes, skis, snowboards, SUPs, kayaks, and plenty more. City Cruiser bikes are free to borrow from the front desk. If you need something, be it a beanie or a bike, LOGE probably has it available to buy or borrow.
If you did bring your own ski and snowboard gear, there are storage lockers available for use during your stay.
