Wendy Thies Sell is a four-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, travel, wine and lifestyle writer and mother of two. She was a TV news broadcaster in Madison, Wisconsin before heading west to anchor TV news on California’s Central Coast for 12 years. She has contributed feature articles to Wine Enthusiast, The SOMM Journal, Tasting Panel Magazine, Santa Barbara Seasons, Edible and KidTripster.com. Wendy is also a professional voiceover artist, emcee and panel moderator for organizations such as Central Coast Writers Conference, Hospice du Rhône, San Luis Obispo Coast Wine Collective, Santa Barbara Vintners, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, San Luis Obispo Legal Assistance Foundation, Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation, San Luis Obispo Symphony and JDRF. A native of Wisconsin, Wendy has called Coastal California home for the last 25 years.
